About AFEI
AFEI was founded in February 2018 by the 20 largest companies dealing in the production, storage and marketing of fertilizers in Greece. It now has more than 100 members, including the chemical fertilizer industries in Greece.
The objectives of the Association are the following:
- Communication and cooperation with all stakeholders from the producer to the end user in the plant nutrient supply chain.
- Qualitative data and market analysis.
- Adoption of sustainability principles and practices.
- Recognition of threats and opportunities in the fertilizer sector throughout Greece, the EU and the world.
- Supporting the fertiliser business sector in the context of a constantly changing environment.
- Promoting sustainable development and rational use of fertilisers and chemicals for the benefit of the environment and public health.
- To represent its members and the businesses of the sector before organisations and authorities both in Greece and abroad and to contribute to the development of solidarity and mutual assistance for the protection of their interests.
